Pipewelders has been designing and selling custom hydraulic power units and cylinders for over two decades.

Each power unit is created and built with a specific application in mind.  We design, assemble and service our own cylinders which are available in either a aluminum or stainless construction. These power units and cylinders are used to actuate masts, arches, tops, ladders, and outriggers.  This allows some customers the option of reducing the height of their vessel when navigating under fixed bridges. Our hydroriggers have been proven a success in tournament after tournament, allowing captains to bring in, lay out, or lay down the outriggers with a push of a button. We have an hydraulic staff that has over 35 years experience in designing hydraulic power units, cylinders, and systems. We can assist you in any special project(s) you may have in mind or would like to accomplish.

All new company products are installed on our company boats first for personel testing by our president while fishing the various tournaments.  How do our towers, hydraulics, and outriggers perform against our competition?.

Each cylinder is build and tested in our own hydraulic lab to assure trouble free service for our customers.

• We offer hydraulic maintenance contracts for your vessels hydraulc systems to allow you years of troublefree operation. This service includes annual oil changes and filter replacement, checking pressures and functions, and verifying cylinder and pump operations. This allows for cylinder rebuilds as required, and winterization of you hydraulic systems for customers in the cooler climates.

Single Action Power Unit

This power unit is designed to operate two double acting cylinders for the hydraulic outriggers. This allows both the port and starboard outrigger to swing down to approx 35 degree off the water, and then allows them raise back up into position against the boat. A hydraulic locking cylinder is also available that makes the raising and lowering of your outriggers as easy as pushing a button.

Multi Action Power Unit

This power unit is designed to operate four double acting cylinders for the hydraulic outriggers. This allows both the port and starboard outrigger to both swing down to approx 35 degree off the water, but also push the outrigger fore to increase the distance the outrigger can reach from the boat.

And then allows them push aft and raise back up into position against the boat. A hydraulic locking cylinder is also available that makes the raising and lowering of your outriggers as easy as pushing a button.

Cylinder, 10" Stroke

WE PRODUCE 316 STAINLESS CYLINDERS FOR USE WITH OUR HYDRAULIC LIFTS. THIS IS THE 10 INCH STROKE VERSION.

WE PRODUCE 316 STAINLESS CYLINDERS FOR USE WITH OUR HYDRAULIC LIFTS. THIS IS THE 10 INCH STROKE VERSION.

Hydraulic Ladder (Vertical)

THE HYDRAULIC LADDER CAN ASSIST IN THE RAISING / LOWERING OF SOMEONE WITH LIMITED MOBILITY TO / FROM THE FLYBRIDGE WITH THE PUSH OF A BUTTON. THIS UNIT HAS LADDER RUNGS BUILT INTO THE LADDER FRAME FOR USE FOR OTHERS NOT WISHING TO USE THE HYDRAULIC LIFT OPTION.

Yacht Mast (Hydraulic Folding)
